'Children learn best wen the leaning experience is pleasant and free' John Holt - Author & Educator.

Different ways of learning for different ages

babies learning: non nutritive sucking (baby sucking dummy to make picture more in focus baby realising that they had control over picture focusing

Babies learning through 5 senses: taste, touch, sight, sound and smell.

Seeing and hearing are the main senses adults use. If more senses are used greater learning can happen.

Three different styles of learning:

Auditory,

Visual and

Kinesthetic learning

Auditory learners listen and pick up pace and rhythm.

Visual people may talk quickly and use visuals to help them learn.
Auditory people often musical modulated tones, poetry,

Kinesthetic learners need to be physically active when learning.

Senses can affect learning

Learning across genres
